| The Alpaca Owners and Breeders association promotes alpaca awareness and has initiatives to promote the industry. Alma Park was a Gold Benefactor in 2007 to support industry efforts. |
| MAPACA is the regional affiliate for the Mid-Atlantic states and runs one of the largest Alpaca Shows in the country each year, "The Jubiliee". Rose is proud to be on the 2008-2009 MAPACA Board as a "member at large" as well as being the head of the fiber committee. |
