About Us
(Rose and Joe) bought this property in 1997, we originally had
aspirations of making it a horse boarding facility. After holding on to it
for a few years undeveloped, we starting doing research and learned
about Alpacas. After about two years of intense research and reading,
we decided to take the plunge and bought our first group of animals in
2003.
The name Alma Park comes from the subdivision that was originally
set to occur amid our farm. We thought it was catchy and fit the
industry.
Please see our store to see what great items this renewable
resource can produce. Remember no Alpacas are ever hurt when we
take the fiber from them - it is like getting a haircut.
